Reckless Aggression - “Nobody” from Demo
Reckless Aggression is a skinhead hardcore band with a strong Oi! influence from Australia. The singers name is “Meatdog” and he has an X, a spider, and the word “Meatdog” tattooed on his head. When they play, they have their own banner with their name, they have a song about beating up crusties, and they cover “Wonderful World” by 4-Skins on their demo. All of these things are cool to me. This band is great. Super raw hardcore punk the way it was meant to be played. I hope they tour the US at some point.
I’m sorry. I love this blog, but are you kidding me? What makes these guys stand out in any way? You could go into any 16 yr old angsty kid’s basement and hear this literally anywhere. I’m not saying simple isn’t good. That would make me a hypocrite. What I’m saying is- this doesn’t MEAN ANYTHING. It’s just sloppy, style-less noise in the shape of punk.
